Summary of the Week7
This week I read a news site EXAME again, the news is titled "London telephone booths earn green version". The term refers to green ecological because now the famous London phone booths run on solar energy and also recharge cell phones. This leads to believe in the survival of this postcard of England's capital since the cabins fell into disuse with the advancement of cell phones. The cabin was named Solarbox and was installed at Tottenham Court Road, one of the busiest points of the second britânica.A capital Solarbox will be installed in January and others will come in the following months.

Week 7 - Heart Disease
Recently my friend found he had tendency to have high cholesterol by hereditary factors, so I decided to help you with some tips and performing some activities with him. First, I told him to improve diet and eat more healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. The steaks should be grilled or roasted. I went with him to the supermarket to buy some fiber such as oats, because fiber helps to reduce cholesterol levels. In addition to healthy eating, we started the academy to accomplish physical activity. Live near the bus and exchanged by bike. I advised her to avoid stress as a less stressful life also decreases the risk of heart attacks and lowers cholesterol. In addition, he advised to stop smoking as this increases the risk of heart diseases.
Week 7 - Summary
This week I
read a very interesting article on the website "EXAME" in the
category "Science”. A report called " Half the planet's water may be
older than the Sun " tells of a recent study indicating that half of the
planet's water is more older than the Solar System. The study was made at the
University of Exeter in Britain. The researchers found that between 30 and 50%
of the water consumed today is about a million years older than the Sun. The
work was published in the American journal Science and supports the idea that
there is life beyond Earth because water is crucial for the existence of life
element.

Weather Event - Homework Week 5
My country, Brazil, is a country with a tropical climate so it's not a common occurrence of catastrophic natural events as well as floods. Strong and long rains are natural phenomena that most impact the Brazil. I remember a few years ago, me, my mom and my sister went out for a walk with our puppy for the first time, she was still a puppy and this would be his first ride. On a Saturday afternoon we went for a park near our house, I remember that my puppy was very excited about the first ride. We walked the entire length of the park and when we arrived at the end of a heavy rain began. We took our little dog on her lap to run from the rain and seek shelter. The rain was very strong and continuous then quickly had formed large puddles. Until we find we water under all our clothes and my puppy got very wet and frightened by the situation. We found shelter in a snack bar in the park and stayed there about 1 hour waiting for the rain to pass. With our big rain delay and my father got worried and called several times to my mother's phone until after a while she meet and we were well informed. When the rain stopped we went home and took a hot bath followed by a hot drink also. My little dog has developed pneumonia due to what happened and had to take some medicine to get well. I remember the rain which affected my family this small way affected my city in a very hard way, some homes in steep terrain collapsed, burying people and causing fatalities. Some people who were in transit at the time were left stranded in their cars and thus some were drowned. This type of event is quite common in my state between the months of December and March because it is when we are in the summer and several rains like these happen. Nowadays, technology is higher and receive notifications of heavy rains and places that can be flooded to thereby prepare ourselves and protect.
Personal Summary - Week 5

The report held in Sao Paulo on September 18, 2014 by the magazine staff EXAME account that the hotel chain Marriott has created a cabin that allows people to take virtually unknown places without leaving your seat. Uses the term cabin only for ease of understanding, it is an eye to produce images and other equipment connected to a computer to produce sensações.A booth entitled "Teleporter" releases typical of the place being visited odors. The cabin is also capable of producing sensations in users as the use of fan sites with gusts to simulate and use heater to simulate very hot places. The Teleporter is part of a marketing campaign of the hotel chain and will circulate to all Marriott hotels in the region of the United States.

Living on Desert - Sidewinder Rattlesnake
Sidewinder Rattlesnake are animals that live in Extreme southwestern Utah, southern Nevada, California and south into Mexico. They belong to family Viperidae, the Viper and Pit viper family. Your habitat are desert of wind blown sand, especially around sand hummocks topped with creosote bushes or mesquite. They are preyed on by kingsnakes, coyotes, roadrunners and raptors.Their diet consists of small mammalsand lizards, which also supplies all their water needs. These are small, tan to gray rattlesnakes with dark blotches, typically narrow necks and triangular heads with pointed, horn-like scales above their eyes and small rattles. They move across the sand by “sidewinding”, looping their bodies forward diagonally toward their goal. An interesting fact about these animals is that Sidewinders use their tails to attract lizard prey, a behavior termed “caudal luring”.
